DIMPLEPLASTY OR DIMPLE CREATION
Dimpleplasty or Dimple Creation is plastic surgery procedure to create dimples on the cheeks.
Dimples are the indentations that occur when some people smile. Some people are born with naturally occurring dimples from indentations in the dermis caused by the pull of deeper facial muscles.
Dimples are regarded by some cultures as a sign of beauty, good luck, and even fortune. Due to such perceived benefits, the number of dimple surgeries has increased significantly in recent years.
The Dimpleplasty or Dimple Creation procedure is performed using stitches between skin dermis and deeper tissue creating artificial indentations under local anaesthesia. The patient remains awake during the Dimpleplasty or Dimple Creation procedure and is able to collaborate with Mr Javaid all through the progress.

BEFORE THE DIMPLEPLASTY SURGERY
Mr Javaid will provide guidelines before the procedure. For instance, you will be asked to stop smoking, as it can hinder your healing process. Smoking increases the risk of necrosis (death of tissues) almost twelve times. If you are planning to lose weight, it is advisable to do so before the surgery for improved results.
Mr Javaid will talk to you about the type of anaesthesia that will be used, the duration of the procedure, the type of clinic admission, as well as the expected recovery period and time off work.
SUMMARY
Operation duration: 30-45 minutes. Anaesthesia: Local Anaesthesia. Clinic Stay: In and out day case. Time off work: 1-2 days.
